The 2nd European Home Improvement Forum will take place on 31 May – 1 June at Europe’s leading conference resort, Disney's Newport Bay Club Convention Center. The event, hosted by EDRA and fediyma (the European Federation of DIY Manufacturers) will present an unmissable opportunity for representatives of the leading DIY companies to discuss the developments which are already changing and shaping the markets.
The theme will centre on four key topics: 1) Design – New trends in stores and packaging, 2) Garden – Future trends for growth potential, 3) Human Resources – How to get and develop the right people in the future? and 4) E-commerce – Is the Home-Garden Improvement sector ripe for e-commerce?
One of the highlights of this year's event is the 2nd European DIY-Lifetime Award presented to a well-known figure in our industry for exceptional contribution over many years to the European DIY market. The Forum will also be the perfect occasion to present the new fediyma International DIY Consumer Study 2012, with data from new countries including Austria, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Russia and Turkey.
