Régis Degelcke, Groupe Adeo is new EDRA President

Régis Degelcke of Groupe Adeo has been appointed president of EDRA with immediate effect. He takes over from George Adams, who stood down from the position after two and a half years in office. Degelcke, executive vice president strategy & development of Groupe Adeo (Leroy Merlin, Bricocenter, Aki, Bricoman, Weldom and Dompro) has 25 years of experience in the DIY industry, including 11 years as CEO of Leroy Merlin France. Within the French DIY retail federation (FMB), he has contributed to the development of synergies between the major DIY players in France. As president of EDRA he will apply the same mind-set and energy to federate the member companies in Europe, and further enhance their relationships and interests. His term is for a period of one year, following the rotating system, after Germany and the UK have provided the last two EDRA presidents. He will be the successor to George Adams, who resigned as EDRA's president to become chief executive of Spicers, Europe's leading wholesaler of office products.
