John W. Herbert has spent more than 25 years in the home improvement industry. He was Managing Director of Knauber (a family-owned DIY chain in Germany) for 17 years, after which he spent a short time in the US as President of EXPO Design Center West Coast USA. In 2002 he was appointed joint Managing Director of the Federal Association of German DIY Stores and Garden Centres (BHB). Since 2004 John has been the General Secretary of EDRA.

Catherine Morgan joined EDRA in mid-2009 following careers in both civil engineering and garden design. Working in the areas of administration and research, Catherine is in charge of the day-to-day running of the business and organises all of EDRA's events. Her responsibilities also include the newsletter, the website and managing the membership.

Saskia Driessen is a lawyer and has been working for EDRA and BHB since the beginning of 2007. Saskia is responsible for monitoring European legislation. With respect to lobbying issues she remains in constant and close contact to Eurocommerce in Brussels.
